Drawing on more than fifteen years of experience in high end residential design, Katie Carlin founded the firm in 2020 with a vision of cultivating interiors that reflect both her clients’ unique energy and aesthetic while providing comfort and livability in beautiful environments. While the firm’s projects have spanned many styles, the one common thread that can be found woven throughout each project is Katie’s thoughtful attention to detail, resulting in homes that are a reflection of the clients’ aesthetic.

Her background in high-end residential interior design, custom interior architecture, and construction administration informs her ability to create exquisite residences, while simultaneously bringing efficiency to the process to ensure a seamless integration with the architecture of the home. Drawing on this background in addition to a strong understanding of the construction process, Katie is skilled in guiding clients in their selection of every detail, from fixtures and hardware to furniture and custom window treatments.

Katie’s work has been featured in publications such as Home & Design, Chesapeake Living, & Annapolis Home. A native of the eastern shore, she lives in Annapolis with her husband and three children.

Katie Carlin Interiors provides services along the East Coast, working with clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic and beyond from our Annapolis, Maryland studio.

Rather than adhering to a specific aesthetic applied universally, we believe in curating every design to the client as an individual. We strive to empower our clients to transform their homes into living expressions of their unique story – their lifestyle, experiences, & interests. Our job is to tell it using skills honed through clear insight, and our team’s commitment to distinction. The results are spaces that are authentic, reflecting our clients rather than us.
